Road Buddies Adoption Event

Harmony New Beginnings Animal Rescue (HNBAR) had a heartwarming experience participating in the Road Buddies Adoption Event at the Salem RV Show on February 1, 2025. This event not only showcased the wonderful work of various animal rescues but also resulted in three of our beloved rescue animals finding their forever homes.

​The Salem RV Show, held at the Oregon State Fairgrounds, is a well-known event that attracts a diverse crowd, making it an ideal platform for animal rescues to connect with potential adopters. HNBAR was thrilled to be part of this community effort, where multiple rescues came together to support each other and promote animal adoption. The atmosphere was filled with enthusiasm as attendees interacted with the animals and learned about their stories.

Community Collaboration

One of the highlights of the event was witnessing the collaborative spirit among local rescues. Organizations like HNBAR, along with others in the area, united for a common cause: helping animals in need. This collaboration not only enhances visibility for all participating rescues but also fosters a supportive network that can share resources and knowledge.

​Success Stories

At the event, we celebrated the successful adoptions of three animals who had been under our care. Lucky was true to her name and found a wonderful family! Scarlett & Bear also found a new loving homes.  Each adoption represents a new beginning for these animals and is a testament to the dedication of our volunteers and supporters. We are grateful to everyone who stopped by our booth, engaged with our animals, and considered giving them a loving home.

As we reflect on this successful event, we are inspired to continue our mission of rescuing and rehabilitating animals in need.
