ADOPTABLE ANIMALS

While we strive to keep this page up-to-date, some animals may have been recently adopted or have pending adoptions. We appreciate your patience and understanding, as we are a small, volunteer-run rescue doing our best to ensure the best outcomes for our animals.

Please visit our Facebook page to see more photos of our animals and their updates!

AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION

When an animal is "Under Assessment," we may not be able to share much about the animal because we only know what we are told and we prefer to get to know the animal over time before we can speak to how it may react to other animals, how it will be with children, etc. We love people to set up an appointment to meet the animal they are interested in.

We work hard to make successful adoptions.

BEYOND ADOPTION: OUR ANIMALS DEPEND ON US

HNBAR Sanctuary Animals.jpg

Some of our animals require long-term foster care, and in rare cases, they may need to stay with us permanently in a sanctuary setting Currently, we have several animals who aren't adoptable, but still rely on our rescue for ongoing care and support. We're committed to providing a safe and loving environment for every animal that comes into our care.

Every donation counts in making a difference for these animals.

COMPASSION INTO ACTION

We are dedicated to providing a safe haven for dogs, horses, livestock, and other animals who have suffered from neglect, abuse, or are at risk of slaughter or euthanasia. We commit to restoring their health and well-being through comprehensive veterinary care, proper nutrition, and socialization. By demonstrating compassion in action, we aim to inspire our community to value the lives of all animals and promote a culture of kindness and empathy.
